For one day in Cologne, I went out and borrowed a Canon 85mm 1.2-lens, a ridiculously large, expensive and heavy piece of optical design. Of course I'm not nearly good enough to use it to its full potential, but I did catch a glimpse of what it might be able to do in the right hands.
I spent a weekend in Prague with a friend, also a photographer. I sort of feel like I'm taking steps backwards at this pont, or at least haven't managed to come to grips with the 5D yet.
These are some of the shots I took at night, some of them are horrificly soft. I could only use M42-lenses, which might be part of th eproblem.
