So I did some more. I am going through a phase of searching for my style at the moment; I felt burned out and empty by doing photography recently. Keeping it fun is a constant process of re-thinking and re-adjusting, but the rewards are amazing.
(I liked both of them a lot, so I'm sharing both.)
Some more of the images I shot that day. I already love my 5D (arrived yesterday), but I don't think I'll ever feel as... connected to it. Plus, I hate the colours coming out of it.
I got out and shot some portraits. We started the "session" (which is a way to professional word) a bit to late, so there wasn't any sunlight any more. I somewhat struggled with my editing, but I like how these came out.
also, I've recently bought a Canon 5D Mark I, so this was probably the last serious use the old Olympus will see. It's still a great camera, despite its many flaws.
Shot some portraits of a long-time friend at the "Seewiesn" in Altaussee. Doing "manly" portraits is far harder than finding poses for girls, still, some came out quite good.
A few wekks ago, I borrowed a friend's Canon 10D for a while. Snapped some photos. I actually really liked the camera, although it's quite old and slow.
I promised you a few portraits yesterday. Here they are. I do feel like I'm getting better in people photography, but I still feel horribly uncomfortable doing it.
And what do we have here? Why, it's a photo of myself.
